Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. As an Assistant Controller, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established guidelines.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Help manage budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights and recommendations for financial planning.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial audits and reviews.
• Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
